Uber: Yes, Gift Cards Work Seamlessly
Uber accepts gift cards as a direct form of payment within the app. You can enter the code into your Uber Wallet and use the balance for both rides and Uber Eats orders. You can even buy Uber gift cards for the exact fare amount through Fluz, allowing you to earn cashback instantly.
To redeem a gift card:
- Open the Uber app and go to Account > Wallet.
- Tap + Add Payment Method > Gift Card.
- Enter the code and the balance will be applied.

Lyft: Gift Cards Are Accepted, With Some Conditions
Lyft also allows gift cards, but only through the app. You must add the code to your Lyft account first—the card cannot be swiped at the time of payment. Lyft gift cards are available through retailers and online platforms.
